While everyone eagerly waits for the Eminem new album, there is talk among music enthusiasts that the rapper may drop it at Glasgow Summer Sessions 2017. Fans may not have to hold their breath long as many believe that the new record will be out next month.

It can be recalled that the rapper graced his fans in Scotland with his music in 2013. And in the coming days, he will headline the Summer Sessions at Bellahouston Park. It may be a few weeks away, but reports are claiming that he will release a taste of the Eminem new album.

An Eminem New Album May Release at Glasgow Summer Sessions

Last year, Mathers assured his Twitter followers that he’s already working on a new album. It has already been months since his announcement, and there is still no word from him. And now, it may be safe to say that he will drop something new during his gig in Scotland.

Many of his dedicated fans are optimistic that they might get some new songs. His last Glasgow tour preceded the release of his The Marshall Mathers LP 2, so the fact that he is back on the circuit is a good indication that a new record is coming.

To add proof, The Defiant Ones director Allan Hughes teased that Dr. Dre is in the studio, likely putting the finishing touches on the rapper’s upcoming album. He said, “Dre still records. People don’t know this: Dre records every day. Literally, he’s in there recording songs every day. He’s like Picasso in that way. He’s always painting. Right now he’s producing in the 11th hour, a track for Eminem’s latest album.”

While Dr. Dre hasn’t produced any tracks for Mathers since their lone collaboration on his 2010 album, fans are hopeful this new venture will reignite their historic chemistry. The last gig of Eminem at Glasgow was well-received by hip-hop enthusiasts and critics alike, so everyone is sure that his upcoming show will smash it out of the park.

Music theorists assert that 2017 will be a great comeback for Mathers because he is headlining different festivals. He is also expected to drop new tracks during his live performance at the Reading and Leeds Festival in the United Kingdom this summer.
