For the last several weeks, rumors have swirled regarding a potential feud between the two female MCs after Cardi's meteoric rise this past summer. After "Bodak Yellow" ballooned into a juggernaut on the mainstream front, fans pondered whether Minaj was truly a fan of the "Lick" star's success.
Speculation increased when Minaj unleashed a blistering verse on London On Da Beat's record "No Flag," where she rapped, "Lil’ bitch I heard these labels tryna make another me/ Everything you getting little hoe is cause of me."
After "No Flag," fans assumed Cardi fired back in retaliation on G-Eazy's new record "No Limit," where she countered with lines like, "Can you stop with all the subs?/ Bitch I ain’t Jared."
